Marketing Executive
Salary: £30,000 - £35000
Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid – 4 days office, 1 day WFH)About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Marketing Executive to support activity across a portfolio of established brands. This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience across both digital and traditional marketing channels, with a focus on email campaigns, website content, creative assets, and brand storytelling.
You’ll get involved in a wide range of marketing tasks — from building customer journey emails and automated campaigns to creating landing pages and collaborating on new website concepts. Working closely with the wider marketing and digital teams, you’ll help deliver day-to-day activity and play a key role in brand campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Build and send campaigns in Mailchimp and Force24.
- Develop and optimise automated customer journeys and trigger-based email workflows.
- Manage lists, test campaigns, track results, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Website & Content
- Update brand websites in WordPress, including new content, images, banners, and blogs.
- Create and test new landing pages to support campaign activity.
- Collaborate with a web developer on new site concepts, layouts, and functionality improvements.
- Check content accuracy, SEO optimisation, and brand consistency.
Creative & Copywriting
- Write and proof marketing copy for emails, websites, social media, and printed materials.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to amend and adapt images and artwork.
- Support the creation of simple design assets or prepare briefs for agencies and suppliers.
Campaign Support
- Assist in the delivery of seasonal and promotional campaigns across all channels.
- Help produce brochures, flyers, POS, and other marketing materials.
- Liaise with print and production suppliers to manage artwork and deadlines.
Marketing Admin
- Keep marketing materials and image libraries organised and up to date.
- Maintain partner and retailer portals with current brand assets and information.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
Other Activities
- Support events, photoshoots, and trade shows as required.
- Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the team.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects to support ongoing marketing initiatives.
About You
- Experience in a marketing support or executive role (agency or in-house).
- Hands-on experience with Mailchimp or similar email platforms (Force24 a plus).
- Confident using WordPress, including landing page creation.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong writing and proofreading skills with a good eye for detail.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple projects.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and keen to keep learning.
