Birmingham (min 3 days) + Swindon/Home
£35,000- £40,000 DOE + 10% Bonus
- The ‘go to’ Event Manager for one huge client account: basing yourself 3 days minimum at their offices in Birmingham, with remainder of the week at home & Swindon

Working across the UK, my award-winning client has an enviable portfolio of existing clients and has a highly regarded reputation. the Event Manager will be regularly client facing, so flexibility with travel and a full UK driving licence is required.

As Event Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of pre planning through to onsite delivery. From initial enquiry, you will scope the project, present your proposal, build costings and timelines and will work with internal and external suppliers and teams to implement.

Typical responsibilities
- Compiling & presenting proposals
- Managing bookings from initial enquiry, budgeting, creating proposal, presenting, and accounting
- Conceiving innovative and creative events
- Presenting plans and proposals
- Individual event budget management
- Adhoc on supporting events on-site to offer full event management (includes regular time away from home and overnight stays)
- Liaising with suppliers
- Invoicing and general administration
- To attend a minimum of two client events per year. This will probably be out of office hours. They are fun and give you an opportunity to meet your clients and gain product knowledge by seeing and experiencing new venues
- Experience of managing large scale events with a budget of £500,000
- Graduate from university or 4 years’ experience in a client / agency in the events division
- Previous experience in managing and successfully completing your own events from brief to post event with onsite experience both in the UK and overseas
