Sales Executive - Technical Products

Are you commercially minded, confident with customers and interested in learning a technical product range?

We’re recruiting for an established product-led business looking for a Sales Executive to join a small, supportive team. This is a varied internal sales role combining customer enquiries, quotation follow-up, account development and proactive outbound calling.

You don’t need to be an engineer. What matters is that you’re practically minded, curious and willing to build the product knowledge needed to understand customer requirements and recommend the right solution.

What you’ll be doing

• Handling enquiries from new and existing customers.
• Understanding requirements and helping customers identify the right product solution.
• Preparing quotations and, with training, material schedules from customer drawings.
• Following up quotes and proactively calling customers to secure orders.
• Developing repeat business and supporting targeted new-business activity.
• Processing orders accurately and keeping customers informed.
• Working closely with colleagues to resolve technical or product queries.

What we’re looking for

• 2-3 years' sales or customer-facing commercial experience.
• Confident telephone manner and some experience of proactive/outbound calling.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• A practical approach and genuine interest in learning technical products.
• Organised, accurate and comfortable working with numbers and IT systems.
• A positive team player with the motivation to develop and succeed.
