As Fundraising Account Manager, your focus is to maximise fundraising within the Community. You will generate income and achieve targets through a variety of fundraising methods primarily organised by supporters. Working with a wide range of people, you will ensure a positive supporter experience both face to face and through effectively carrying out administrative tasks & activities.
The role has a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends in order to support events.
Role responsibilities…
- Identifying new fundraising opportunities, through face to face, phone & email efforts
- Research new activities & events – building & owning your own event calendar & budgets
- Lead, develop & promote all events & activities
- Organise & supervise volunteers
- Liaise with local media & the communications team to promote & publicise events
- Continuously building relationships & partnerships with fundraisers, donors & volunteers
- Experience of working within a busy planning role- Events, Hospitality, Activities
- Experience of managing & owning administration tasks
- Customer facing experience- demonstrating your capabilities in encouraging individuals
- Experience of speaking publicly/presenting
- Ideally, any Fundraising experience would be the icing on the cake!
- Computer literate
- Exceptional organisation & prioritisation skills
- Confident & engaging relationship building skills
- Creative ‘out the box’ thinker
- Bundles of energy, enthusiasm & a sense of humour is an absolute must!
- Also, you must have passion, love & enjoyment for this role & the business
