In a nutshell, reporting into the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for executing the strategic communications plan across the business, managing the day to day relationship with the external PR agency and supporting in the management the brand & reputation across the media.
Key responsibilities;
- Define, own & deliver the multi-year communications strategy, associated framework and plan in line with the business objectives
- Driving & managing awareness of the brand, building and protecting the external reputation in the media
- Oversee all this activity with excellent PR, effective internal and external communications, public affairs and the development of a strong and positive identity and brand
- Have accountability for measuring engagement and ROI, with the ability to interpret results and lead by experience and knowledge to amend and improve results ongoing to ensure success
- Previous experience of working within a PR & Communications position- perhaps you are already a PR & Communications Manager looking for your next step up!
- Excellent communication experience across both external press/reputational exposure
- The ability to build outstanding relationships with key stakeholders
- The ability to manage and lead a team
- Drive, energy and enthusiasm
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Communications qualifications would be desirable
- Previous experience of handling crisis communications and working on complex policy issues
