Are you looking for a new challenge in public relations / communications where your excellent copywriting, design and digital skills can be used in a highly varied and hands-on role?
We are looking for an experienced communications executive to join a team based in Swindon.
Working as part of a small team you will play a key role in developing and delivering the company’s communication and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Group Communications Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the production, publication and distribution of published corporate literature for both internal and external audiences and generating digital content.
Key responsibilities include:
- To generate content ideas and co-ordinate delivery of written copy, graphics, photography and video for company websites and social media channels.
- To co-ordinate Group Communication’s involvement and assist with the delivery of agreed marketing and advertising campaigns for the Group and each operating division as required.
- To work with the Digital Communications Executive to develop the websites and online presence managed by Group Communications and support maintenance of website content and social media posting.
- Identify suitable content and write and edit copy for employee publications, co-ordinate delivery of the design and production of employee newsletters and performance bulletins.
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of employee awareness campaigns supporting Group-wide initiatives and key messages.
- To identify opportunities for media coverage and produce press releases for news outlets and trade publications enhancing the brand and reputation.
- To develop the Group’s communication strategy jointly with the Group Communications Manager.
- To support the Group Communications Manager in co-ordinating engagement with stakeholders via print and digital channels.
Applicants must have proven copywriting, proof reading, publications’ design and layout experience. Candidates should be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional marketing or public relations’ qualification and be able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
The successful applicant should have experience of using online content management systems and it is desirable to have experience of working in a public relations department and using social media to support business communications strategies. Driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
