Performance Marketing Manager - fixed term contract (12 months)

Are you a commercially minded performance marketer who knows how to turn paid media investment into quality leads and measurable results?

This opportunity offers ownership of established B2C acquisition activity, working across paid search and paid social, improving campaign performance, reduce cost per lead and maximise return on investment. 

Operating between the business and external delivery agency, you have the opportunity to drive innovation and new thinking to make a tangible impact at pace.

The role

  • Manage and optimise a £1.5m annual paid media budget across paid channels.
  • Drive performance across Google Ads and Meta, with opportunities to develop activity across TikTok, Microsoft/Bing and emerging platforms.
  • Generate quality enquiries, improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Test audiences, creative, ad formats and landing pages to identify what delivers the strongest results.
  • Use GA4, Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager, alongside Funnel reporting, to turn campaign data into clear actions.
  • Work with agency partners and internal marketing, digital, creative and CRM teams to deliver coordinated campaigns.
  • Support organic acquisition through keyword insights, content optimisation and local SEO.
  • Provide clear reporting on spend, lead quality, conversion and return on investment.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience as a Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Media Manager or Digital Acquisition Manager, gained agency or client side.
  • Strong hands-on Google Ads and Meta experience, ideally B2C lead generation.
  • Confidence managing significant budgets, explaining commercial impact
  • Analytical approach, with a track record of using data and testing to improve results.
  • Strong stakeholder and agency management skills.
  • Working knowledge of SEO; experience with SEO platforms would be useful.
  • The ability to pick up established campaigns quickly, maintain momentum and identify opportunities for improvement.
