Customer Marketing Manager

Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to work for this innovative manufacturing business based in Swindon.
You will be joining an entrepreneurial solution focused organisation, where you will be responsible for leading the brand into the retail market sector. The Customer Marketing Manager will contribute to all areas of the business and link them through digital and offline campaigns
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis and develop recommendations tailored to target retail segments
- Conduct retail segment opportunity analysis
- Suggest new branding ideas
- Gather Voice of the Customer intel for leading end-users to define tomorrow’s solutions
- Assess solutions-offer business cases in collaboration with Product Marketing team
- In collaboration with internal and external sales teams, develop and drive segment penetration plans from defining objectives, goals and strategies to measuring results and ROI
- In collaboration with the sales, product and management teams identify sector exhibitions, market events and opportunities to showcase the groups offer.
- In collaboration with the sales, product and management teams own, organise and deliver customer events and report on their success.
- In collaboration with the sales product and group marketing management team develop the social media story to drive penetration into the retail end user client base.
- Drive operational efficiency and consistent value-add information to internal and external audiences
- Drive internal cross-functional collaboration and solutions offering understanding with analysis of competitor products, Product Management, Sales, Engineering, etc.
- Partner with the internal Marketing Communication team to define appropriate positioning and messaging based on competitive analysis, market factors/trends and customer feedback
- Work closely with Product Management to ensure customer and market requirements are added to the product roadmap
- Assist sales teams with customer specific proposals, presentations, and solutions sales enablement tools
- Represent Project solutions offerings at Quarterly Business Reviews and internal/external events
- At least 5 years’ experience in B2B customer marketing; retail industry experience preferred
- Strong business acumen with prior experience and a proven track record in go-to-market planning, and quantitative ROI analysis
- Thorough understanding of marketing strategy, tactics and development of marketing campaigns.
- Methodical, detail-oriented and highly organised
- Works quickly and accurately under pressure
- Must be confident, efficient and practical
- Be proficient across various MS Office packages
- Strongly customer focused, team orientated, yet able to work independently
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to develop clear recommendations and present quantitative results
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal at all business levels
- Driven, resourceful, self-starter, with strong initiative
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Ability to influence key stakeholders within the business up to board level is essential
- Ability to travel 25-50%
