Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for a Business Operations Manager to join this established forward-thinking organisation based in Swindon. This is an amazing brand-new opportunity that will offer the successful candidate plenty of scope to manage the business process, supporting teams from HR to Account Management to Digital Development and Finance. You will report into the COO and be responsible for the smooth running of the business and the internal management operations.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing the office environment, suppliers and budgets
- Supporting all team leaders in their roles, organising training, inductions and events
- Support the management team to create a positive and driven work environment
- Exposure to business plans, activities and decisions
- Help to maintain business plans and objectives over the course of a financial year
- Lead internal projects covering personal development
- Software implementation, improving business process
- Organise and minuting management meetings
- Booking transport and accommodation
- Organising company events and conferences
- Preparing presentations and reports
- Implementing office procedures/administrative systems
- Using a range of software packages
- Dealing with all pension and benefits administration
- Health & Safety administration and welfare of all employees
- Organising staff training and activities
- Monitoring staff performance and attendance and ensuring all HR records and documents are correct and up to date
- Checking new employees right to work paperwork
- Organising induction programmes for new starters
- Being a super user for all new software, offering training where required
Key Skills required
- Experience of working within a similar project-based role where you have coordinated and rolled out projects to multiple departments
- A thirst for working within a busy company, championing positive change
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- High levels of attention to detail and reporting experience
- Excellent communication skills with internal departments, suppliers and customers
- Knowledge or a desire to understand technology and software
- Confident at managing your own time
- Budget management experience
- Experience of streamlining and implementing processes to enhance productivity
- Great problem-solving skills
- Able to solve internal conflict effectively
