Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Head of Ecommerce for a rapidly growing retail head office organisation.
Main purpose of the role
Leadership of the ecommerce & omnichannel business across all fascia in line with our business strategy and commercial plans
Collaboration with other key business areas to deliver the most commercial value possible, including the overall customer journeys, product development roadmap and our multichannel service/fulfilment promise
Accountable for the overall P&L including sales, costs and related KPIs
Influence across the business in the profitable pursuit of online revenue
Key responsibilities
Delivery of ecommerce & multichannel revenue and profit in line with business targets
Management & execution of web content including sales persuasion, category navigation, product & editorial sales content, merchandising, and other supporting messaging
Provision of management reports on KPIs and customer insights
Development of the ominchannel product roadmap with IT and other group businesses
Working with the Marketing & Omnichannel SMT on defining the overall omnichannel customer journey, and ensuring consistent execution
Management & development of the ecommerce team
Needs to work closely across the whole business, including customer service and fulfilment, Marketing, B&M, Retail and Finance teams.
Key Performance Indicators
Overall ecommerce and multichannel P&L
Associated KPIs including visits, revenues & costs by channel incl. CPA & CPO
OTIF delivery of necessary business projects
Work with operational teams on customer promise & service SLAs
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required
Strong understanding of the multichannel customer, customer lifecycle and the customer journey
How to target, acquire and communicate with the online customer to influence behaviour
Online acquisition, conversion, optimisation and retention
Management of people, agencies, budgets and KPIs
Web analytics, content management systems, Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate and influence at senior levels of the organisation
