Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will be working for a market leading organisation based in Swindon.
You will be responsible for managing multiple SEO, CRO and UX initiatives with the overall objective to increase the company’s organic visibility. You will first and foremost have a technical SEO / programming background but also have a good understanding of the latest search engine updates of core ranking algorithms, plus understand how those changes will impact the business.
Joining this highly successful, £40m turnover business, you will be responsible for writing an SEO strategy that will be implemented alongside the annual marketing plan.

Responsibilities
· Develop and implement changes to website architecture, paying attention to CTR and UX to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
· Review and implement any third-party plugins and other on-site optimisation changes with a view to increase overall CRO
· Manage strategic link-building campaigns
· Perform ongoing keyword analysis, and implement changes that optimise landing pages for high search volume traffic.
· Work alongside marketing team to drive SEO in content creation.
· Provide UI/UX analysis, recommendations, and implement changes.
· Conduct A/B tests to help improve conversion funnels and user flow.
· Monitor competitor behaviour with a view of protecting our market share.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Able to analyse, strategize and implement onsite changes for improved ranking results.
· Stay up-to-date on search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
· Able to identify relevant, target keywords and phrases that provide the best chances to rank high, increase organic traffic, and ultimately generate additional leads.
· You are a problem solver and decision maker who is not easily defeated.
Essential experience required:
· A minimum of 3 years SEO and ecommerce experience
· Good, working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
· Good working knowledge of WordPress developer
· Google Analytics
· Google AdWords
· Goole Search Console
· Bing Webmaster Tools
Ideally experienced in the following packages:
· SEM Rush, Majestic, Moz and other additional third party analytical software.
