Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a talented eCommerce Content Executive to join an exciting B2C organisation operating in a rapidly growing sector. The organisation is growing rapidly, it is an exciting time to be joining the organisation as it continues to expand in the UK market.
Supporting the eCommerce Content Manager with sourcing content, appropriate presentation and implementation of content on the eCommerce website ensuring Omnichannel consistency to brand guidelines and other sales and marketing channels. Using exceptional attention to detail to proofread copy, and high levels of accuracy to ensure content is implemented as required to engage with visitors, and to maximise sales and conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the eCommerce Content Manager and working with in-house colleagues and external parties to produce suitable written and visual content; including campaign imagery, advice, inspiration, photography and video that is consistent with other channels to support our positioning
Using schedules to ensure that work is meeting business priorities and deadlines
Uploading content and implementing amendments to the website using a Content Management System (CMS) and third-party software
Working with the eCommerce Content Manager to analyse data and identify opportunities to improve content and maximize conversion rates. Using tools such as MS Excel and website analytics software
Writing copy for the website as required during busy periods
Supporting the eCommerce team with ad hoc general administration tasks as required
Experience:
Experience working within an ecommerce retail environment would be an advantage
Proven online copy writing skills
An awareness of HTML, and have basic editing skills
Experience using a Content Management System
Experience working within an eCommerce/SEO/Content Marketing or similar environment
Interpreting and reporting using data, preferably from multiple sources
Have experience of creative writing (ideally published online)
Have experience at briefing an internal or external creative studio
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience influencing others
Understanding of basic SEO
Knowledge of website analytics software (such as Google Analytics) and other content analytics solutions
A knowledge of the Outdoor industry would be a distinct advantage
Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager would be an advantage
