Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a talented Social Media Executive to join an exciting B2C organisation operating in a rapidly growing price and service focused sector. The organisation is growing rapidly, it is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and making a real mark for yourself supporting the business take its message to the UK market.
The Social Media Executivehas responsibility for implementing the social media strategy - to develop brand presence and awareness whilst supporting new customer acquisition.
The role reports into the Marketing Director but will involve working with Technical/Web, Sales, Customer Service, and PR teams/resource to meet their respective objectives, ensuring consistency of voice and building a social media referral network. The successful candidate will become the brand and customer service voice and champion across all social media channels.
Responsibilities:
Developing, implementing and managing social media plan and calendar
Planning and coordinating content-driven campaigns through all social channels
Monitoring and measuring the social media activity of customers, prospects and other interested parties and reporting internally on engagement and sentiment
Proactively seeking out social media outreach opportunities and creating proposals on how we can tap into them
Ensuring the effectiveness of the social media strategy and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques
Working as community manager - responding to enquiries, engaging in conversations and answering questions as required across all social channels in a timely and relevant way
Analysing, reviewing, and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns and optimising results
Monitoring competitive social media activity for best practice and benchmarking
Monitoring the social media ‘space’ for best practice and new opportunities
Experience
Educated to a minimum of A level standard
Experience in a social media role as a content creator/ community manager
Experience of implementing and maintaining social campaigns and initiatives across various sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Linkedin etc.)
A social media advocate and enthusiast that can champion the cause at every level
Proven copywriting skills that demonstrate an understanding of social media language and culture
Experience of working on projects independently and within a team
Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks and conflicting demands
Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
Practical knowledge of key social media channels and reporting tools
