As Account Director, you'll be at the forefront of client services, managing relationships with key stakeholders, presenting compelling project proposals, and ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
Your role will encompass both leadership and hands-on project management, making you an indispensable part of our team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client-agency relationships across all levels.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive project proposals, updates, and creative work to clients.
  • Generate written materials like project presentations, proposals, budgeted scopes of work, reports, and client communications for senior management.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities for resource efficiency, estimate resource requirements, and ensure profitability.
  • Monitor and manage resource allocation, reporting on project health.
  • Handle client invoicing accurately and on time.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for incremental sales with clients.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and responses to client briefs.
  • Lead task management, resource allocation, and problem-solving.
  • Maintain the highest quality assurance standards.
  • Support professional development, mentoring, and recruitment.
  • Participate in pitch teams and interview candidates for junior roles.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by providing content and insights related to client projects.
  • Support the leadership of the cross-functional Hub team, aligning with values and goals.
 
Key Requirements:
 
  • Previous experience in an Account Director role is desirable, or minimum 2 years' experience at SAM level.
  • Strong understanding of agency Client Services techniques.
  • Excellent grasp of digital or performance marketing, with an eagerness to learn CRM principles.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership qualities, including team support, project guidance, mentoring, and recruitment.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Google Equivalents), Harvest, and Forecast.
  • Motivated to meet deadlines and uphold high standards.
  • Dedication to producing outstanding work individually and as part of a team.
  • Continuous drive for improvement, critical thinking, and a commitment to digging deeper into briefs and requirements.
