Ecommerce Executive
Cirenecester | £27,000–£30,000
Are you looking to build your career in eCommerce and gain hands-on experience across some of the UK's biggest online marketplaces?
We're recruiting an Ecommerce Executive to join an established, product-led consumer business with a growing online presence.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with some existing eCommerce, marketplace, product data or digital trading experience who wants to broaden their skills and take real ownership.
You'll work across a variety of marketplaces, helping ensure thousands of products are presented accurately, competitively and effectively online.
What you'll be doing
You'll be right at the heart of the day-to-day eCommerce operation, including:
-
Managing and optimising product listings across multiple online marketplaces.
-
Onboarding new products – from product descriptions, specifications and imagery through to pricing and categorisation.
-
Improving product visibility, searchability and conversion through better content and optimisation.
-
Supporting seasonal campaigns, promotions, marketplace offers and new product launches.
-
Monitoring pricing, stock, orders and listing performance.
-
Identifying and resolving listing errors, missing information and marketplace issues.
-
Producing regular performance reports and identifying opportunities to improve results.
-
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Services and IT.
-
Helping improve eCommerce processes and the way products are brought to market.
What we're looking for
You don't need to be an eCommerce expert or already operating at management level.
We're looking for someone who has gained experience within eCommerce, marketplaces, digital trading, web content or product data and is ready to take the next step.
You'll ideally bring:
-
Experience creating, maintaining or optimising online product listings.
-
Good Excel skills and confidence working with product, pricing or performance data.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
Strong written English and an ability to create engaging, accurate product copy.
-
Good organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
-
A proactive approach – someone who spots a problem and wants to solve it.
-
An interest in understanding what makes products perform successfully online.
Why consider it?
This is a great opportunity if you want breadth rather than a narrow eCommerce role.
You'll gain exposure to multiple major marketplaces, thousands of physical products, new product launches, promotional activity, data and reporting – while learning from an established team.
There's also plenty of scope to develop your knowledge, improve existing processes and grow as the eCommerce operation expands.
The package
-
£27,000–£30,000, depending on experience.
-
24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
-
Company pension.
-
Staff product discounts.
-
Training and opportunities to attend relevant conferences and industry events.
-
Opportunity to develop within a growing eCommerce operation.
-
Following successful onboarding, potential to work from home one day per week, subject to business requirements.
