Marketing Assistant – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you looking to build your marketing experience within a busy, commercially focused marketing team?
We’re recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join a well-established consumer-facing organisation on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll support digital content, websites, campaigns and wider marketing activity across multiple locations. It would suit someone with some practical marketing experience who enjoys content, digital marketing and keeping multiple projects moving.
What you’ll be doing

Creating, editing and publishing website content

Writing and editing copy in line with brand tone of voice

Keeping website content accurate, consistent and up to date

Liaising with sales and marketing teams across the business

Supporting regular website and marketing performance analysis

Helping coordinate imagery and assets for marketing materials

Using image-editing tools to enhance marketing content

Supporting national marketing campaigns and digital projects

Working with internal teams and external marketing suppliers

Helping report on campaign activity and results
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a confident communicator with strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in digital marketing.
Ideally, you’ll bring some experience of:

Digital marketing, website or online content

Copywriting and editing
-
Content management systems (CMS)

Writing content for a B2C audience

Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
-
Managing deadlines and multiple priorities
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, email marketing, social media or basic HTML would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.
A marketing qualification would also be advantageous.
