As an Account Manager, you’ll serve as the primary client liaison, managing end-to-end experiential marketing campaigns. You’ll be responsible for building strong client relationships, overseeing project delivery, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring flawless execution of brand experiences that engage audiences and deliver measurable results.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, strategy, digital, and operations) as well as external vendors and partners to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into campaigns.
- Campaign & Project Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of campaigns
- Manage day-to-day client and relationships and act as the main point of contact.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality experiences.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights, evaluation and recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with retail trends to provide thought leadership to clients.
- Strategy & Creativity
- Support ideation and help shape strategic proposals and innovative concepts that align with client objectives.
- Support in developing pitch presentations and proposals.
- Support new business pitches and contribute to agency growth.
- Analyse campaign performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.
- Operations & Finance
- Track budgets, reconcile expenses, and ensure profitability of projects.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Manage contracts, approvals, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in account management within an agency environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong client service and relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident communicator, able to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Good negotiation skills
- Budget management and negotiation experience. Good financial understanding and experience of creating and managing detailed budgets.
- A creative and commercial mindset, with a passion for consumer and shopper behaviour
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong analytical; evaluation and reporting skills
- Ideally experienced in utilising analytical and reporting software.
