Creative Digital Designer

Swindon

Hybrid working- 1 day Office

Salary- £24,000-£30,000

Joining within a newly created role, the Creative Designer will act as part of a busy in-house creative team, responsible for designing mostly digital assets supporting the brand, marketing activity and strategic objectives.  You will need to hit the ground running, as you will be straight onto multiple design projects and creative tasks working closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery to brief and high-quality output in accordance with our brand guidelines. 

We are looking for someone with a couple of years’ experience in a similar Creative Design role, looking for that next step up!

Key Responsibilities…

  • Create design solutions across a wide range of media including digital marketing, campaigns and social
  • Create and manage templates/filters/artwork files for marketing literature, advertisements, reports and online creative assets (e.g. imagery for social media and the website);
  • Liaise closely with the marketing team (and wider business stakeholders where appropriate) to present proposed solutions, review feedback and make adjustments/amends as required
  • Support the marketing group in making modifications and adjustments to existing marketing collateral and creative assets
  • Support the briefing of external suppliers/agencies for outsourced services including design and printing
  • Responsible for ensuring outputs are compliant and within the set design system and brand guidelines
  • Responsible for design system and contributing to the evolution and development of brand guidelines
  • Work closely with UX practice to create UI design in support of websites, digital platforms and online customer experience, to include ideation, concepting, motion/animation design and working end-to-end through the design process

To be considered for this role…

  • Demonstrable graphic design experience (preferably in a graphic studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative department)
  • Demonstrable digital & print graphic design skills with a strong portfolio which illustrates a range of creative work from a variety of disciplines, digital and print
  • UI Design experience
  • Video Editing/story boarding experience
  • Highly creative with an eye for great design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (with a specific focus in InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Resilient with confidence and handling feedback and ideas
  • Good at managing own workload Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to manage cross-functional relationships
  • Good presentation skills – able to present ideas confidently
