SEO – Marketing Assistant
Hybrid- 3 days office (Marlborough) 2 days home
Salary- upto 24k DOE

Joining within a newly created role, you’ll build and optimise ads/paid media campaigns, help the Digital Marketing Team grow vital SEO opportunities and optimise rich site content. Current digital marketing channels are core to growing and driving the business forward to achieve new customer acquisition targets.
If you are naturally analytical, technically minded and have a genuine knowledge of paid advertising then we want to speak with you! This is an ideal role if you are looking for your next step up, or you may be a recent graduate with a relevant work placement/work experience.
Key responsibilities…
- Support the Digital Marketing Team across all relevant paid search channels and platforms, including social platforms, affiliate networks and search engines
- Adopt an agile methodology for everything paid search, ensuring campaigns are managed within budget and will achieve KPI targets
- Work with peers across the business to share best practices
- Optimise campaigns by implementing new experiments across the different mediums including landing pages, ad copy, bidding, and audiences
- Be responsible for optimising budget allocation
- Generate campaign reporting and provide insights to inform future activity
- Monitor and evaluate industry developments
- Liaise with design studio to ensure brand messaging and tone of voice is in line with brand guidelines
- Support with important metric analysis using SEO tools
- Assist the Digital Marketing Executive on technical areas of the site such as implementing schema, redirect requests, internal linking and other technical SEO specifications
- Assist and build relationships with external and internal teams
- Adopt a UX best practice approach for the execution of the campaigns you’ll be managing, across both paid and SEO channels
To be considered…
Knowledge of paid advertising platforms such as google adwords, bing, facebook and Instagram would be desirable
- Some content driven SEO experience
- Understanding of the importance of SEO and the role SEO plays on an ecommerce site
- Understanding of bidding and attribution tools
- Detail-orientated and responsive with strong quantitative skills, you must be able to analyse data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations as needed.
- Adaptable and able to flex with changes in prioritisation, in order to meet new or changed goals
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
