Our client is an exciting forward thinking organisation seeking a experienced Database marketing Executive. This role will suit an individual with the ability to accurately manipulate high volumes of data but to also sense check and challenge the output to ensure a strong commercial return.
You will enjoy working as part of a larger team and thrive of the pace and deadline of a dynamic target driven organisation.
This is a challenging and exciting role offering opportunity for personal development and growth. Working directly with the Head of Marketing, you will be confident supporting wider data decision making for the business.
A professional, highly motivated individual is required primarily to assist in the production and management of the company’s customer database which provides insight to members of the management team as well as external clients.
This role involves working hands-on with Customer Management software, as well as communicating with both external companies and internal departments to meet departmental objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Aiding the Head of Database Marketing to develop and produce the Company Budget.
• Work with the Head of Database Marketing to deliver marketing campaigns to budgeted plans and spend
• Evaluate and analyse results to provide insight to the Head of Database Marketing and the business
• Work with third party data suppliers to facilitate optimisation of file records utilising external data sets
• Running campaign data selections in accordance with marketing briefs
• Production and checking of data extracts to ensure the highest possible standard of data and ensuring data is delivered on time and to spec to internal departments, external printers and external business clients, accurately checking and signing off data proofs
• Setting up of promotions in CRM software and testing all aspects to ensure our customers are receiving the offer as advertised
• Briefing internal teams during meetings on offers and processes
Essential skills:
• Numerate & logical thinker
• A results driven focus with strong analytical skills with an aptitude for interpreting data
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Self-motivated with an ability to learn new software
• Solid organisation and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ideally a knowledge of marketing automation software packages
