Marketing Executive
Chippenham
£25,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Marketing professional to join an established business based in Chippenham.
Assisting the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the full marketing mix to include website optimisation, production of marketing materials and event coordination
Key responsibilities:
• Assist with and coordinate the production of marketing collateral including brochures, flyers and exhibition materials, providing design content where appropriate
• Write/contribute to articles and promotional materials for the company, including written copy for the website and blogs
• Create and maintain email marketing campaigns with a focus on long term lead nurturing
• Utilise social media including Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs effectively to promote the brand and build awareness
• Assist the Marketing Manager with PPC and social media campaigns
• Run reports using Google Analytics to analyse click through rates and site usage
• Coordinate events, book venues and order marketing materials, maintaining the Marketing Calendar to ensure timely delivery of activities
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of the website
• Ensure that communication with other departments is proactive, consistent, timely and informative
• Upload marketing material to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites
• Update and maintain the Marketing department's documentation and databases
• Work with the Marketing Manager to review trends to increase conversion rates of lead generation activities
Skills & Experience
• Marketing degree or a marketing qualification/certification
• At least 1 years’ experience implementing or maintaining PPC and SEO campaigns, as well as managing and updating website content through the Wordpress platform
• Very high standard of written English with demonstrable experience in writing original web and print content
• Ability to explain and simplify complex concepts for a varied audience
• Willingness to challenge the status quo
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently on self-managed projects
• Confidence to represent the marketing team’s voice in front of peers, managers and senior management
• Desire to learn new skills and disciplines within a marketing- keeping up to speed with changing digital technologies
