Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join an established business based In Swindon.
The Marketing Analyst will play a key role in helping drive organic growth and revenue performance through robust analysis and insight. Reporting to Head of Marketing and working closely alongside our senior sales leaders and Business Analytics team, you will take ownership of sales and marketing reporting, helping to monitor and assess our performance and ensuring the customer is accurately represented, correctly targeted and relevantly communicated with.
Duties and responsibilities:
Produce regular reports and insight on our commercial performance, tracking key customer and marketing KPIs, including market share, customer retention and attrition rates, and penetration rates for key products and services
Design and evolve actionable customer segmentations to support a business-wide understanding of who our customers are, what we mean to them, what they mean to us, and how to better serve them.
Identify, understand, monitor and explain market trends and drivers of demand across key market verticals.
Work with our segment marketing managers to monitor, measure and evaluate campaign performance. Make selection and campaign recommendations based on previous performance.
Provide marketing and sales team with robust market analysis in support of support launch of key new products and services
Co-facilitate meetings, reports and initiatives related to sales pipelines, helping sales managers to track, manage and improve sales performance.
Oversee monitoring of marketing expenditure, to ensure processes are cost-effective.
Work with Business Analytics team to create and refine reports and visualisations of data, primarily through Tableau. Define sales dashboards to display key insights and performance across commercial and customer metrics and KPIs.
Proactively identify areas where our database, models and data can be improved
Ad hoc and deep dive customer analytics ensuring clear insights are presented with commercial and actionable recommendations.
Skills and experience:
Sales and Marketing understanding
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with CRM software
Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills; ability to organize data and documents with close attention to detail.
Experience working with data visualisation software (experience with Tableau preferred).
Strong presentation skills, and experience communicating across all levels of an organization
Experience identifying insights from analysis and presenting finds in written and oral format
Project management
