Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for a Marketing Data Executive for a multi-channel retailer based in Swindon.
A professional, highly motivated individual is required primarily to assist in the production and management of the company’s customer database which provides insight to members of the management team as well as external clients.
This role involves working hands-on with Customer Management software, as well as communicating with both external companies and internal departments to meet departmental objectives. The candidate needs to feel comfortable talking on the phone and corresponding via email as well as feeling confident utilizing the company’s dedicated software. This role would suit a graduate who has a keen interest in data and data marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Running data selection requests in accordance with marketing briefs
- Production and checking of data extracts to ensure the highest possible standard of data
- Ensuring data is delivered on time and to spec to internal departments, external printers and external business clients
- Producing timely and accurate reports to aid marketing selections
- Working as part of a team to ensure that work passes all internal quality control checks
- Updating logs to track various activities
- Setting up of promotions in CRM software to ensure our customers are receiving the offer as advertised
Essential skills:
- Numerate & logical thinker
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Self-motivated with an ability to learn new software
- Solid organisation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience of working with customer names and address data and knowledge of the new General Data Protection Regulations
- Knowledge of the role of marketing in a business environment
