Rocking Zebra are seeking an experienced European Sales Manager to join an established technology business with an enviable FTSE listed customer base.
The objective of this role is to generate new business revenues from targeted prospects headquartered in continental Europe with a focus on organisations based in France, Spain, Germany and the Benelux countries.
Identify and convert business opportunities in the core countries as a result of own prospecting and networking activities
Follow-up and convert leads from organisations in the core countries generated via the website and other marketing activities
Identify and convert opportunities for additional sales to existing customers
Obtain referrals from existing customers and find opportunities for case studies
Assist the marketing department to undertake appropriate promotional activity in the core countries
Attend seminars, conferences etc. as required to represent and promote the business
Ensure that communication with other departments is consistent, timely and informative.
Provide timely feedback to the Global Sales Manager in respect of activity and performance, maintaining accurate records on the internal CRM system.
Product and market knowledgeBe proactive in making suggestions for product improvements to the services offered
Gather information and report on competitors’ activity and sales strategies, recommending the most appropriate way to respond
Work with appropriate governing bodies in the core countries which have relevance to the services offered
This is an existing new business sales role. The opportunity to sell a technology solution across the base and develop new opportunities with a highly referenced FTSE customer base makes this role a must to pursue further.
