Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Artworker to join a successful team and reporting into the Design Manager
Key Responsibilities
Skilled in the production of digital artwork to exacting standards, the Artworker will produce digital artwork for all marketing communications. Directed by the Lead Designer, the Artworker will take the detailed layouts produced by the Design team and populate the artwork with accurate data and images in preparation for repro/ print/ broadcast.
Obsessive attention to detail and accuracy are pre-requisites for the role. The ability to meet deadlines, flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing requirements is crucial
· Collate product and marketing data from multiple sources and populate formatted artwork
· Maintain job brief and project tracking data/job status – ensure progress is communicated to key stakeholders, and respond to priorities set by the Design Manager
· Accurately reflect Brand Guidelines and use interpretation skills to ensure designer’s vision is translated effectively, and on-brand.
· Work with photo–retouchers (internal or external) to ensure colour balance across spreads and consistent application of colour profiles/curves.
· Using typographic skills to ensure integrity of design and layout. Constantly check for formatting or copy issues. Use most efficient methods to execute finished artwork.
· Ensure that amended and annotated corrections are initiated with 100% accuracy
· Support digital team with production of web banners, emails etc.
Knowledge required
- Experienced MAC operator with a comprehensive knowledge of Adobe CC
- Excellent technical & typographic skills with an extremely high attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years experience of producing digital artwork for print, on-line and off-line environments, to highest standards of accuracy
- Good understanding of end-to-end Creative Production processes
· Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
· Self motivated with a strong ‘can do attitude’ as well as a willingness to learn
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident individual who can remain calm, efficient and positive under pressure; able to adapt to change and redefine goals where necessary.
· Excellent at multi-tasking, effective time management skills + ability to manage / prioritise workload
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Good problem solving skills
