Merchandising Assistant
Swindon
£17,000-£19,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for a Merchandising Assistant to work within the head office of an organisation based in Swindon.
As a Merchandising Assistant you will support a busy merchandising department with all aspects of the supply chain to ensure profitability at all times. You will analyse product performance, sales and forecast stock requirements for each mail order activity. Compare current stock holding, outstanding purchase orders, actual and forecasted sales to maintain stock levels. You will summarise and identify key trends in product performance and comparative analysis and have a sound product knowledge keeping up to date with relevant changes and amendments. Additionally you will be monitoring the website to ensure all product information is up to date and accurate.
You will need to know Excel to intermediate level- understanding v-look ups, pivot tables and formulas.
To be considered for this role you will have excellent time management skills, enjoying working at pace within demanding environments. You will have an excellent eye for detail and enjoy analysing trends and comparing results to offer insight.
