Studio Design Manager
Devizes
£28,000-£40,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Studio Traffic Manager to join an established and continuously growing brand based on the edge of Devizes.
Key Responsibilities
My award winning client is going from strength to strength and has some exciting plans for 2017!
Working within a busy production department, you will be responsible for overseeing all design and production of print and digital material – catalogues, inserts, flyers, calendar, e-mails and the website home page. You will have management of the design process from receipt of brief through to handover of artwork to printers. Whilst managing the print production process, you will also be applying your creative flair, supporting with excellent creative and copywriting.
· Ensuring briefing documents are filled in, and are clear and well thought through
· Write copy and select images to support brief
· Initial review of creative prior to circulating internally
· Proof read all creative prior to artwork sign off
· Liaison with printers, to include artwork handover, proof approval, checking print briefs
· E-mails – take creative brief from marketing, write copy and select images
· Web site content- editorial content, proof reading, editing new articles etc.
· Video content – managing production of new video content
· Responsibility for the master critical path
Skills & Experience
We are looking to speak with experienced production management candidates, who understand the print process. You will have experience of working within a design and production environment, with a strong copywriting ability and a creative eye.
You will also have a good understanding of branding, combined with excellent organisation skills and able to manage complex schedules.
You will thrive when working within a busy studio, communicating with internal departments, suppliers and clients. You will have a background within design and creative and be happy to turn your hand to this. You will have the ability to manage a team of people, setting KPI’s and processes as well as streamlining and implementing new studio processes to enhance productivity.
