Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Responsible for the planning and delivery of our ecommerce website to ensure our D2C website is maximised to be best-in-class for both customer acquisition, retention and optimised for maximum conversion rates. A customer first mentality aligned with our product and customers. You will report to the Head of Brand and Digital Marketing and liaise closely with the CRM & Performance Marketing Manager and the Content and Social Media Executive to ensure all information is correct and customer behaviour insights are shared in a timely way.
You will liaise with the Product Development team ensuring that all products are accurately represented and up to date, utilising your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse data quickly and accurately. You will help to develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs throughout the customer journey plus identify and execute improvements to drive business growth by optimising content and increasing CR’s.
Monitor, liaise with other depts. and manage all technical issues on the site via support systems with our website agency to ensure issues are resolved swiftly and accurately.
Main responsibilities
- Updating appropriate website content aligned with our campaign time plan, delivery promise and ecommerce strategy.
- Uploading and ensuring all product information for ongoing and new collections are correct and updated correctly in line with agreed campaign timelines.
- Ensuring all products are merchandised to maximise the best CR and AOV.
- Ensuring the sites (UK, EU, Germany, ROW and US) are optimised for maximum CR in all regions and aligned with regional campaigns.
- Improving the user experience of the website by conducting monthly reviews with both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Carry out monthly site audits measuring key KPI’s and daily reviews across all websites, checking product information, categorisation & placement is correct.
- Ensure the search function on the site is optimised correctly when new products are launched.
- Ensure site navigation is kept up to date and new product launches occur ensuring customer first navigation for ease of shopping, ultimately improving CR and AOV.
- Collaborating with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets our high standards.
- Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
- Responsible for day-to-day logging and management of support issues with our website agency, ensuring issues are identified, communicated and resolved in a timely manner and know when to escalate those elements with a high priority.
- Keeping up to date with e-commerce industry best practices plus monitoring competitor and brand aligned websites in all our major regions.
E-commerce and Merchandising Requirements:
- 2 years of work experience as a website and/or merchandising executive.
- Good knowledge of ecommerce systems - preferably Magento. Plus, CMS platforms -preferably WordPress. Good working knowledge of Excel and interpretation of data. Word, PowerPoint. Good understanding of GA.
- Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage website issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
