Hire Coordinator
Shrivenham
£20,000 - £25,000 doe
To provide a high level of support to the Product Specialist Manager and Hire Engineers, to help
facilitate customers hire needs and requirements. To ensure all enquiries are responded to in an efficient, professional, and timely manner, with a customer centric attitude and approach. To help maximise the utilisation and performance of the hire department.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with customers via email and telephone on all hire enquiries.
- Maintain and update customer and equipment databases
- Communicating with customers to facilitate hire returns.
- Working with customers to arrange hire extensions.
- Co-ordinating the correct delivery and collection of hire equipment, as requested by the customer.
- Creating hire quotations and orders
- Liaising with Product Specialist Managers to help to co-ordinate customer queries and requirements.
- Managing and maintaining Product Specialist Managers demo fleets.
- Managing and maintaining hire equipment to be calibrated externally. Liaising with suppliers and calibration houses to facilitate return and calibrations and approving any costs associated with this.
- Working with Hire Engineer to maintain hire stock levels and requesting new equipment to
be added to hire fleet, as and when required.
- Working alongside the Service Co-ordinators to facilitate duration of service hire
equipment.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Ability to build good relationships with customers.
- Work methodically and diligently, demonstrating outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently as well as within a team.

- Willingness to learn new skills and keep informed of industry developments.
