My client's business is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Internal Communications Assistant to support their Internal Communications Manager in delivering their dynamic internal communications plan. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating engaging content, managing their communications channels, and fostering effective employee engagement.Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to execute the internal communications plan, primarily focused on digital channels like online newsletters, emails, and applications.

Develop and enhance communication channels to meet the evolving needs of colleagues.

Create compelling collateral, materials, and content for internal communications channels.

Manage the weekly company e-newsletter, including planning the editorial, gathering content, editing, designing, and layout.

Record and edit interviews for the internal company podcast.

Measure the effectiveness of internal communications activities.

Assist in preparing employee engagement surveys, analyzing results, and communicating findings.

Support the monthly feedback forum and provide advice on communication challenges and opportunities.

Maintain and update the communications database.

Assist in organizing and running events, including business meetings, conferences, leadership events, and internal communications roadshows.

Develop an in-depth understanding of internal communication needs, collaborating with colleagues and various teams.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Experience in an internal communications role or a background in journalism/marketing is essential.

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly.

Excellent interpersonal skills, building effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities.

Desirable skills include proficiency in creative/design packages, video production, and audio editing software.

Excellent organizational skills, meeting deadlines and prioritizing workload.

Eagerness to learn, use initiative, and be proactive.

The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
