Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a User Experience Designer looking for their next step in a fast paced commercial environment.
 
 
What will you do?

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders across the business to understand and interpret requirements for changes or improvements to our digital platforms.
  • Identify opportunities on our websites, app and other digital assets for improvements and new features that benefit the user’s experience.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to capture and define a project’s scope and ambition.
  • Conduct research such as interviews to determine customer needs.
  • Develop a range of creative conceptual ideas for projects that bring simplicity, usability and accessibility to complex user experience problems.
  • Formulate information architecture, site maps, and user flows to build an understanding and alignment across the team and stakeholders.
  • Create storyboards or sketches to visualise and bring your UX solutions to life.
  • Create interactive models and prototypes using Sketch, UXPin, InVision, etc. to simulate functionality.
  • Validate ideas and designs through face-to-face usability testing and then iterate using the findings to refine the solution.
  • Present UX solutions internally to the team and project stakeholders and justify the rationale behind UX decisions
 
 
What are we looking for?
 
  • You’ll have proven experience as a UX Designer with an impressive portfolio that shows end-to-end design artefacts from research through to high fidelity visuals.
  • A degree in UX Design, Industrial/Product design, computer science or related field.
  • Confident user of design tools (Adobe CC, Sketch, Invision, UXPin).
  • Experience of designing web-based and app-based products and services.
  • Experience of working directly with users and understanding their psychology and behaviour.
  • A 'can do' attitude and the ability to work seamlessly with other areas by building internal relationships.
