This is an exciting high-profile Marketing Director role for an expanding retail organisation based in Somerset.
The principle responsibility will be to identify, develop and implement the marketing strategy in line with company objectives, to drive revenue and business growth.
This will include ecommerce, trade marketing, offline marketing competitive analysis / market intelligence.
The ultimate objective for this role is to implement a best in clast marketing function aligned to the overall business and commercial objectives as it scales and meets plan.
The Marketing Director will not only be responsible for establishing a marketing function, they will be hands on and thrive on working in a dynamic and fluid retail head office environment and potentially be looking to step into an MD role.
Ecommerce is a key area for immediate focus and will suit an individual who has oodles of experience developing successful ecommerce retail organisations.
People leadership and P&L responsibilities come along with the role as well as sitting with the main board shaping strategy and direction.
The ideal candidate will be from a retail head office environment who operate within Ecommerce Marketing B2C. Being a proven Head of Marketing or Marketing Director, you will be able to demonstrate your success of growing a marketing function at pace whilst being aligned with commercial growth of the business exceeding stretching targets.
Experience of trade marketing is also of particular interest.
