Rocking Zebra are working with a highly ethical organisation based on the outskirts of Cirencester.
You'll work in the Digital Growth team, and you'll develop and maintain a strong working relationship with digital marketing and commercial teams. Your work will be aligned to the Digital Marketing plans, and your focus will be on ensuring digital identity is widely known and content is widely read. And you'll do all of this while remaining consistent with the company’s unique brand and tone of voice.
What you will do…
Produce and manage written content to support our SEO and Digital Marketing plans
Maximise SEO performance while working within brand guidelines
Lead on blog strategy, producing content to increase brand's awareness
Ensure content is engaging for both customers and non-customers
Educate colleagues on the value of SEO, and ensure it's an underlying thought for all web content
Measure the results of content marketing activities using tools such as Google Analytics and SEM Rush
Develop a test and learn approach to content - adapting content as necessary to improve results/reach and conversion
Work with designers and video producer to enhance content with additional media
About the Candidate
You'll be a great writer, and you'll understand the importance of balancing SEO and tone of voice, the commercial and the creative. You'll be able to write quickly and expertly from a brief and will be capable of carefully adapting existing content so that it has greater digital impact.
You'll already have taken the first steps in your marketing career, with experience working for an agency or in-house, and you'll have experience of producing content within a digital marketing environment.
You'll be seeking a role where you can have a direct impact on both business growth and the wider environment, while also developing your skills and experience.
The detail about you…
You'll ideally have agency experience, or in-house experience
Excellent copy-writing skills
Excellent understanding and expert application of SEO (on-page, technical, link building) - demonstrated through experience working in an SEO-based role
Experience of related tools/software (CMS systems, Google Analytics, SEO tools)
