Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic hands on Sales Manager to join an established forward-thinking organisation
Our client is a household brand and looking to appoint a Sales Manager to lead an expanding outbound sales and account management team
You are directly responsible for the profitability and sales performance, strategy and people management/development within the department.
With a proven record of motivating teams from the front, you will lead teams to deliver business results and enhance our reputation for providing a consistently high-quality service.
The Role
- To work with whole function to ensure performance is kept in line with the budget and wider expectations
- To develop all staff within the department
- To work with the team leaders and supervisors to support sales staff, ongoing training plans and personnel development
- To monitor and report on the performance of the sales team
- Work with networks to ensure continued growth
- To track and review network targets both internally set and externally for rebates
- Provide a consistent high quality customer service and to achieve agreed KPIs
- To proactively manage your workload
- To act as a point of reference for complex queries and ensure appropriate action is taken both at a customer level and with personnel
- Work effectively as a member of the management team to ensure overall objectives are achieved
- To develop and maintain industry and business knowledge
Experience and personal qualities
- Communication – ability to give and gather information and to actively manage the communication process
- Organisational Skills – ensure the various roles within the department work together
- Data analysis – utilize relevant data and reports to ensure we use customer insight to aid department growth and profitability
- HR – ensure staff are motivated and aware of their responsibilities.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate outbound sales and account management teams
- Sales and Account Management in a customer focused environment
- Experience of leading others
- Ability to use IT systems for departmental growth
