This would be the perfect role if you are a progressive Account Manager, or a technically focussed Events Production Manager with the drive, determination and resilience to succeed and achieve more.
You will be responsible for the on-going development of long term business relationships within high profile client accounts. You will be servicing existing accounts, whilst uncovering new opportunities with new stakeholders to increase business and revenue volume! You will be busy creating a jam packed diary weekly, with a range of office based planning days mixed with field based client meetings!
You will be a motivated and ambitious individual with a background within the Events industry. You must have a high level of gravitas and the ability to build strong relationships with prospects. Key to the success of this role is to develop and deliver a structured sales process, managing pipeline, business development and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities…
- Developing new business relationships, pitching and negotiating with the ability to think outside the box and offer innovative ideas
- Build strong relationships with new business leads and prospective clients to ensure effective positioning of the Company products and services, maximising each possibility
- Accountable for lead generation, appointment setting and the full client proposal process.
- A relationship builder who is passionate about being a brand ambassador and keeping in touch with relevant industry contacts
- The ability to think conceptually and creatively
- Regularly communicating with your clients to stay close; understanding need, providing resource and creating schedules
- Attending sales meetings, site inspections and review meetings
- Creating and managing pitches and proposals and supporting with the delivery face to face
- Proven Sales/Business Development experience within the Events/Hospitality industry
- Highly commercial, with a consultative approach
- Impeccable organisational, prioritising and time management skills
- A confident communicator across all channels including face to face
- A decision maker, flexible and able to work at pace within a highly demanding and at times pressurised environment
- You will be a strong relationship builder, with strong analytical skills
- IT literate across multiple systems to include Excel and PowerPoint
You will be a motivated and ambitious individual with a background within the Events industry. You must have a high level of gravitas and the ability to build strong relationships with prospects.
