Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a experienced and dynamic telesales Manchester to join a fast growing Merchant Acquirer
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing telesales Manager to help our client meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to senior management.
Purpose of Job
Our client has a team of 7 business development managers based in our Manchester office, we require a dynamic telesales manager to ensure that we can take our sales performance in Manchester to the next level. The telesales manager also needs to work with senior management to bring additional growth in our Manchester office, not only in staff numbers but also in revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the senior management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Provide continuous reporting on sales achieved
- Help with various projects assigned to the sales team
- Help with market research when necessary
- Help with competitor research when necessary
- Update all internal systems to properly track potential customer and customer
- Train all new starters and provide continuous training and development to existing staff
- Help with up-selling opportunities when new products are being released
- Lead by example, own a reduced target for new business
Knowledge & Experience
- Degree educated
- 2+ years in sales management position
- Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Track record of superior performance metrics
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with CRM software
