Export Coordinator
Swindon
Salary- £22,000 - £26,000 DOE + benefits
My client is a specialist consultancy operating across the globe working with high profile organisations on confidential and highly sensitive projects.
Joining as an Export Coordinator, you will be playing a key role in managing the supply chain operations on a worldwide scale. You will investigate and plan the most appropriate route for shipment, preparing confidential and complicated documentation whilst taking into consideration the nature of the project at all times.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Support the logistic planning and estimate processes
- Support with maintenance of logistic policies and procedures
- Responsible for completing import and export customs entries
- Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment
- Arrange courier shipments
- Obtain and prepare required documentation for export and import compliance visits
- Manage import and export shipments worldwide.
- Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
- Initiate and complete store audits worldwide
- Ability to deputise for the Logistic and Procurement Manager
To be considered for this role…
- At least 2 years experience within an Import/Export role
- Experienced in Freight Forwarding
- Experienced in Supplier Engagement and Negotiating best price
- Computer literate with all MS and bespoke systems
- Hardworking, committed and a team player
- Use of own initiative, ability to think on your feet
- Highly organised, a keen eye for detail
- Ability to keep cool and calm when dealing with multiple demands
