Events & Conference Coordinator
Swindon
Salary- DOE – competitive
Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently recruiting for this vibrant, growing business based in Swindon.
As Events & Conference Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and high number of client request! You will be managing the full 360 process from initial brief through to identifying and sourcing new client venues and locations across the UK!
You will be full of energy, passion and commitment! This isn’t for the faint hearted! You will be a natural planner and organiser, able to effectively manage multiple tasks at any one time and able to keep a cool and calm demeanour when working at pace, with pressure and forever changing goalposts!
The day to day….
- Managing all client enquiries from initial enquiry through to completion
- Ensure that all telephone calls are answered in a timely manner
- Identify new destinations and venues, negotiating costs!
- Produce high quality proposals and documents
- To follow through bookings with follow up calls to gain insight to follow future requirements
- Responsible for final invoices
- Support senior management and the team to maximise all opportunities by hosting suppliers that visit the office
To be considered for the role…
Proven experience within the Events and Hospitality industry is a must! Ideally you will be experienced in identifying new client venues and destinations!
- Highly commercial, with a consultative approach
- Impeccable organisational, prioritising and time management skills
- A confident communicator across all channels including face to face
- A decision maker, flexible and able to work at pace within a highly demanding and at times pressurise
- Organised and methodical
- Confident in making decisions

- Strong levels of attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent team player
- PC Literacy – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
