Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a PR Account Manager to join an established and continuously growing agency based in Cheltenham!

Working across B2C & B2B clients, the PR Account Manager will have a flair for writing and adapting styles. Reporting in to an Account Director you will have responsibility for all day to day operations on behalf of multiple clients.

Delivering what the client is expecting on time, to standard and to budget
ensuring contact reports, status reports, activity plans, long term plans or short-term plans are drafted as agreed and supplied to the client
Management of costs and budgets
Coordinating project proposals, reviews and new business proposals under the supervision of the Account Director
Maintaining frequent liaison with key media, being familiar with all key publications and editors within a client’s sector
Executing news releases, features, feature contributions, in-depth features, press meetings, placing articles, setting up face to face meetings, organising press conferences, media research, general research, etc.
Executing Social Media campaigns for both clients and for the agency; social media strategies, competitor analysis, social media plans, implementation, advertising, review and evaluation etc.

To be considered for this role;

At least 2 years experience of working within a similar PR/Communications role- agency or in house
A sound knowledge of working with editors and journalists within local and national, online channels to include bloggers
Impeccable writing skills able to adapt to your audience
Personable – you will enjoy communicating and building effective relationships with clients and others
Experience of working across a diverse range of marketing plans
A good understanding of digital/PR, especially building strong relationships with journalists
