Working for an exciting high end global brand we are seeking and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to work collaboratively with brand and account management colleagues, licensors and retailers to provide the marketing function across a portfolio of key brands both in the UK and Internationally.
To act as the brand expert for UK and International territories, and to be the first point of contact with regard to marketing activity for your brands.
Key responsibilities
Development, management and implementation of 12-month strategic global marketing plans, whilst considering the longer term strategy of the business
Be the lead for all campaign activity, driving and overseeing the development of the brand tool kit in line with the agreed plan
Compilation of product & range USPs, features & benefits to brief agencies, retailers and distributors
Work closely with the Market Account Manager to define and develop the local plans in line with the company strategy and objectives
Guide, aid and help distributors to make marketing decisions for the brands which are aligned with company strategy.
Continually develop and grow the brands in key territories, building strong relationships to maximize opportunities for brands
Brief and manage asset creation for your brands, ensuring that every campaign is executed with creative brilliance, working in close collaboration with Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director
Drive PR & social media activity, sharing assets with your key markets in the form of tool kits
Work closely with wider teams such as NPD, UK Account Management, International Account Management, Design Studio and Creative Development to ensure alignment across UK and International marketing
Work collaboratively with brand and account management teams on the development and execution of retailer driven promotional calendars, accompanying POS, asset creation, social media and digital activity
Make recommendations on budget spend alongside Senior Marketing Manager/Marketing Director
Lead digital and social media marketing campaigns and promotions to support new product launches and ongoing brand development, across key territories
Maintain a good understanding of each brand, its key messages and tone of voice to effectively generate relevant content as well as staying abreast of market and competitor trends
Day to day management, both internally and externally, of all brand and corporate communications in the UK and Internationally: including:
Briefing and management of marketing & PR agencies, helping to recruit and develop the right partners in local markets
Blogger and influencer outreach
Identification of key media to target, working collaboratively with marketing/PR teams in key territories to optimise opportunities for brands
Creation of product and brand press releases
Brand knowledge: Maintaining an excellent understanding of each brand, its key messages and tone of voice to effectively generate relevant content as well as staying abreast of market and competitor trends to help drive content creation and marketing strategy
Brand Websites: Maintenance and development of all SLG brand websites and optimisation of opportunities available through retailer platforms
Advertising: Development of digital and social media ad campaigns for key brands, often in conjunction with external agencies.
Budgetary maintenance: Ongoing maintenance of marketing budgets and preparation of regular management reports and evaluation of KPI’s to demonstrate ROI on all marketing related activities and spend.
