Marketing Communications Officer
Swindon
£25,000 - £35,000 doe
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is recruiting for a Marketing Communications Officer to join a successful organisation based in Swindon.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering first class content and graphics for the business across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and delivering first class content/graphics for the business and for client submissions/bids including internal and external communications, marketing, digital and PR
- Producing high quality web and print content, including sourcing, writing and editing copy, for media such as print and digital marketing materials, press releases, websites and internal communications
- Through a range of channels, proactively communicate key messages and raise the businesses profile with target audiences
- Building and maintaining an active plan of future internal and external communications activity
- Updating and administering the website and intranet
- Ensuring brand guidelines and communications standards are adhered to
- Producing clear design briefs for new materials and communication channels, managing the design and print/production process
- Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing and communications activity, including analysing data to identify areas for improvement.
What we are looking for:
- A background of working in a marketing, communications or PR role
- Ability to write impactful copy to engage a variety of audiences; a high level of literacy and attention to detail
- Experience of producing and delivering successful marketing/communication plans
- A good level of numeracy and IT skills – MS Office, Word, Excel etc
- A strong team player who is self-motivated and able to communicate with people at all levels
- Excellent project management, organisation and time management skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
