Digital Product Manager- Ecommerce
Swindon
Salary- £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Digital Product Owner to join a leading multi-channel retailer based in Swindon.
Our heritage client has an established name and highly regarded reputation within their industry. Ever evolving, our client has concepts and strategies in place to continue developing their online presence and ultimately, their customer transactions. As Digital Product Manager you will be joining within a newly created role, to shape and deliver strategies to increase online product ranges and aid in the delivery of the customer journey through website improvements and CRM activities.
The Digital Product Manager will work within an experienced technical team, responsible for defining, delivering and developing a responsive customer experience across multiple digital products. You will work with key commercial brand stakeholders constantly seeking to improve the performance of multiple websites; use customer insight and analytics to validate customer problems and solutions throughout the product development process.
You will be responsible for both the Back End and Front End of brand websites – from managing platform integrations with other internal systems through to the look and feel of the customer journey. You will become the key point of contact for all internal stakeholders on web design, web customer journey and issue resolution.

Role Responsibilities
- Ensure the ‘voice of UX’ is reflected in project team decisions, explaining design rationale to colleagues at all levels
- Oversee, steer and contribute to the on-going development of a rich and engaging e-commerce journey for our customers that increases customer conversion
- Instigate UX and design focus projects that support business objectives
- Work with the internal ecommerce team in the build of responsive web pages and email campaigns
- Mentor more junior members of staff in all things e-commerce, design and UX
- Work with internal departments and 3rd party developers to provide guidance in scoping, documenting, testing and deploying changes to the websites
- Assist in the resolution of website issues where required
- Technically literate with HTML and CSS capabilities (Javascript, JSP and / or IBM Websphere would be a distinct advantage)
- Experience of working in a similar role in an e-commerce environment
- Comfortable dealing with third party software suppliers
- Strong experience in UX and in shaping the customer journey
- Good knowledge of the Adobe suite of products (CS6)
- Good understanding of ecommerce and UX best practices and digital technologies
- Passion for web and e-commerce, always remaining up to date with the latest industry trends
- Commercially aware
- Methodical, analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work well in a team and independently
- A ‘can do’ attitude, first rate communication skills
