Ecommerce Trading Executive
Swindon
Upto £24,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an Ecommerce Trading Executive to join a growing brand based in Swindon.
Joining within a newly created role you will be focussed primarily on driving sales and transactions through a number of websites, taking responsibility for owning the delivery of trading plans, for delivering a marketing plan, ensuring site usability, driving conversion and maximising Sales. You will play a key role in the on-going development of all sites, keeping a close eye on competitor sites and industry news!
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for and owner of the website trading margin performance, ensuring performance is monitored and the website is optimised for maximum margin.
- Building new products on multiple websites ensuring that a high level of quality and consistency is maintained
- Ensure the customer journey is smooth and translates into sales calls and ultimately bookings.
- Maintenance of the website and all associated websites, to ensure all information is current, relevant and any changes are made
- Understand the product fully so that all key selling points are highlighted to consumers to maximise sales calls
- Taking ownership and responsibility for press marketing, you will become the final sign off, ensuring the products are portrayed correctly and to maximise the key selling points.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for the final sign off process for database communications
- Review all press, e-shots and websites to ensure the publications/products are making the required return on investment targets
- Review national press to understand the look and feel of competitors to draw ideas for improvement
- Ideal if previous experience in a similar role- perhaps a retail head office
- Natural analytical skills with an ability to interpret and manipulate data
- Self-driven with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and attention to detail
- Previous CMS experience
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
- Reliable, tolerant and determined
- Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
- Able to get on with others and be a team player
- Computer literate, must be able to use MS Office
