Website Merchandiser
Cirencester
£22000 - £25000 + Benefits
Rocking Zebra are recruiting for a Web Merchandiser for a growing manufacturing business that has massively grown their digital offering over the last 3 years.
You will be responsible for the overall presentation of products on the website, including site search and navigation. You will be tasked with identifying and maximising sales opportunities as well as driving conversion improvements across our entire range.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitoring top search terms and ensuring relevant results are displayed
- Ensuring the best products are displayed in prominent positions
- Use Analytics data to identify opportunities to improve product presentation
- Ensuring that products are correctly classified
- Work with the team to ensure all published product data is clear, consistent and easily understandable
- Work with the photography team to ensure products have the best images/videos
- Identify opportunities to enhance content with videos, info graphics, user guides etc.
- Work with product marketing to understand USP and supplier strategies
- Work with suppliers to improve product knowledge
- Identify opportunities to improve product presentation such as dedicated landing pages
- Create effective offers and promotions working with Product Marketing
- Produce weekly/monthly reports on KPI’s
- Work with SEO expert to create outreach content pieces
- Work with marketing teams on product positioning for email campaigns
- Identify cross sell opportunities
- Competitor benchmarking
- Graduate level or equivalent
- Experience of working with the presentation of a large range of products online
- Experience of using Google Analytics
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft packages i.e. Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good copywriting skills
