Rocking Zebra are recruiting for a Product Marketing Exec/Manager to work within the Product Marketing Team. You will be responsible for the development of a portfolio of categories and associated products.
You will work closely with all members of the Marketing Department to develop a dynamic and sustainable product marketing strategy and contribute to marketing campaigns
Key to the role is maintaining a close relationship with the Sales Team to provide necessary product training, gain customer feedback and improve the overall customer experience.
You will have entrepreneurial aptitude and an enquiring mind to provide us with deeper customer insights to help to develop innovation and content to assist business growth.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Conduct customer surveys and user experience testing to provide insights on specific products and services
- Research product innovation ideas across a range of industries to provide ideas for future products and services
- Manage the sales and gross profit margin performance of your product categories to ensure that targets are met and implement development or corrective action plans as needed.
- Track competitor activity in the market and implement innovative solutions to maintain our market position.
- Responsible for the product positioning and merchandising within your portfolio, creating a dynamic, structured range for the customer.
- Create, review and improve the product content for all channels ensuring that the customer experience is always optimised.
- Work closely with sister companies for alignment of pricing
- Review assembly instructions and new methods to present them
- Monitor raw material prices, availability and trends
- Assist sales with product queries and quotes
Skills & Experience Required
- Must be passionate and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Able to analyse data and build action plans
- Organised, logical and methodical, you are comfortable working both in a team and on your own
- Deadlines and working under pressure to achieve results do not phase you
- A good communicator – able to work with suppliers, colleagues and customers at all levels
- A good level of excel
- Graduate in Product Marketing, Development
