Ecommerce Executive
Swindon
£23,000 - £26,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Executive to join a family owned company based in central Swindon.
My client is going from strength to strength and due to the ever increasing sales revenue generated by their ecommerce channel is now looking for an Ecommerce Executive.
Role Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Amazon store and develop other online marketplaces across the UK and Europe to maximise sales opportunities and grow overall online sales
• Amazon listing copy writing & producing content for product listings
• Ensuring keywords, titles, product descriptions and prices are optimised
• Expand online sales by setting up and managing new (and existing) product listings, sponsored advertising campaigns, and periodic promotions
• Working with the marketing department to ensure all new products are launched on schedule across all online channels / market places, and ensuring consistency of information to brand guidelines
• Using web analytics to analyse listings data and identify areas for development
• Monitor product rankings to protect and enhance marketplace status
• Analyse and evaluate traffic and sales conversion data
• Reporting on trading performance on each market place and identify areas for growth
Key Skills & Experience
• At least 2 years' experience working within a similar Ecommerce role
• A very good understanding of online sales and retail
• Educated to a degree level- desirable
• Experience running online marketing campaigns
• Demonstrable experience dealing with market place platforms (including Amazon, and ideally eBay)
• Understanding of Adobe CS & basic HTML coding
• Previous SEO experience and sound knowledge of PPC / SEM
• Sound understanding of web analytics
• Good English Language, written skills, ability to write / edit copy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong business relationships
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage projects
• Self-starter with enthusiasm and attention to detail
