Rocking Zebra Recruitment is recruiting for a Marketing Communications Executive to join an established UK Wide business with an office based in Swindon.
With a primary focus on specific products for the company, you will work with the Group communications manager and communications officer to manage the public reputation of the companies to ensure that the brand on an individual company and collective basis is protected and enhanced.
The production, publication and distribution of corporate literature and online content for both internal and external communications.
To deliver and co-ordinate customer marketing campaigns as required by each operating division.
Key Responsibilities
To develop the Group’s communication strategy with the group communications manager.
To identify opportunities for media coverage and generate copy for press releases targeting local and national news outlets and trade publications to enhance the brand and reputation.
To assist the Group communications manager in co-ordinating engagement with key stakeholders including copywriting for information booklets, feedback newsletters.
To identify suitable content, generate copy and assist in the production and distribution of the company’s magazines
To assist with the production of and maintaining content of company websites in accordance with the Group’s communications strategy and marketing campaigns ensuring search engine optimisation.
To liaise with all operating divisions to deliver marketing campaigns including the production of promotional literature, online content, enewsletters, display materials and ensure consistent and high-quality advertising.
To develop, promote and monitor company social media platforms and ecoms in accordance with agreed communications strategy and marketing campaigns.
To assist with drafting articles, design and production of employee newsletters and performance bulletins.
To assist with the distribution of all internal communications both electronic and hard copy (e.g notice boards) and to develop communication methods for disseminating information to relevant employees on group matters, liaising with functional heads as appropriate.
To monitor enquiries generated from the Company’s websites and forward these on for action as required.
To assist with information gathering and research (both on and offline) to form reports / statistics ( e.g. analysis of press cuttings, Google analytics)
To ensure that appropriate mailing and distribution lists and community stakeholder databases are maintained.
To assist the group communications manager to organise group corporate events (including social) and divisional events.
To liaise with printing companies, advertising agencies and other organisations as required.
To develop, promote and monitor compliance of the Group’s corporate identity guidelines.
Experience required
· Strong editing and proof reading skills
· Experience of working on marketing projects
· Experience of liaising with external suppliers such as printers and advertising/design agencies
· Background within journalism/PR would be advantageous
· Experience of using wordpress and adobe creative suite
· Excellent time management skills
· A people person with excellent communication skills
