Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Senior eCommerce and Brand Creative Manager to join an established business.
The Assistant Head of Department owns the online customer journey and ensuring all eCommerce channels, such as the website, are optimized to deliver an amazing brand and eCommerce experience for all customers. The role works closely with the Assistant Head, Acquisition and Digital marketing to acquire and retain new customers.
The Assistant Head of the eCommerce and Creative team is instrumental to improving the conversion rate through the website, delivering a best in class online customer experience and further developing the look and feel of the brand to ensure the creative appeals to all customer segments. The role manages a cross-functional creative team and has full ownership of the website design and content creation. The role is also responsible for on-going evaluation of the conversion rates from visit to leads and leads to sales to ensure yearly sales and lead generation targets are met.
To design and deliver best in class, out of the box thinking digital propositions and creative campaigns in line with the marketing strategy to engage key stakeholders including: new customers, existing customers, prospective employees, charities and retail partnerships. This will be achieved by:
Full ownership and management of all content and creative adherence of the brand on the website and additional eCommerce channels
Coordinating with relevant marketing agencies to coordinate the creative campaigns and TV ad creatives
Working alongside the department, deliver a quarterly and yearly campaign plan to meet sales and acquisition targets
Full responsibility for all content creation (blogs, video, photography, etc.)
Full ownership of the end to end online customer journey to provide the best information to our customer to make an informed decision and ensuring it aligns with sales, customer service and other relevant departments
Owning process mapping for marketing department and company to ensure the website provides an accurate reflection and support of the comp
Work alongside the Assistant Head of Acquisition and Digital marketing to:
To create and/or adapt existing content to work across digital channels (website, social media, HTML emails, blog)
To advise on and develop engaging and interactive content and techniques that maximise the potential of customer acquisition and engagement
Ensure the charitable ethos story is enshirined in all creative and messaging where appropriate
Ensure innovation and best practices are used across the website and eCommerce channels by:
Tracking, analysing and reporting website performance and recommend options to optimise conversion
Keeping up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and apply them to campaigns.
Providing consulting expertise to internal stakeholders in the development of web / mobile web strategies and solutions for customer acquisition in an eCommerce business
Monitoring new product innovation, competitor activity, consumer lifestyle and technology trends – disseminate insight internally and interpret to drive web / mobile web strategydevelopment
Line managing direct team reports, ensuring personal development plans are in place, objectives and goals are clear, and training and development needs are addressed. Provide mentoring andsupport.
Ideally we are looking for:-
Proven work experience as a creative leader with direct experience in digital and print campaign creation
Strong knowledge of brand strategy and creation; ability to provide out of the box thinking on campaigns to remain relevant to today’s market and provide a distinctive brand
Balance of strategic skills to identify marketing opportunities and trends as well as tactical pragmatic marketing implementation skills;
Broad strategic analysis skill set complimented with a detail orientation
Demonstrable experience building strategic plans
Comfortable with Analytics to understand the creative links to conversion metrics
Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media)
In-depth and senior level expertise leading a team of Creative content producers such as Video, Blogs, Landing Pages, UX/UI
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and team management experience
Strong analytical skills
Broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers as well as executive functional and senior business line leaders to achieve objectives
BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
Willingness to occasionally travel when necessary
Confidence in allocation and controlling marketing spend
