Marketing Communications Manager (maternity contract)

Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager for a maternity cover based in Chippenham
The main purpose of the role is to develop, manage and implement an integrated Marketing Communications plan in line with business objectives and strategic direction, delivering maximum brand recognition for across the companies’ brands. 
Key Responsibilities
·         Responsibility for developing marketing campaigns and strategies for the brand and higher value specification selling
·         Manage all marketing activities
·         Manage campaign and promotional offer development for other brands
·         Digital lead overseeing a team of two
·         Strategies for effective use of CRM Database
·         Ensure Database protection compliance
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
·         To recommend, plan and deliver an integrated marketing communications strategy that enhances and projects the Company branding philosophy creating a strong ‘pull’ orientated strategy.
·         To develop, implement and measure marketing activities, delivering measurable projects and campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality
·         Build and communicate different value added propositions, focussing on appeal throughout the company’s markets and sectors
·         To operate a digital platform that embraces current best-practice communication techniques and devices
·         To drive Marketing CRM development to facilitate customer retention, acquisition and campaign management
·         Devise innovative strategies and campaigns to support the sales team delivering demonstrable differentiation versus our competitors and add value to the P&L
·         Identify and evaluate the most appropriate methods and channels which may be used.  This should place particular emphasis on the creation of integrated and standalone digital platforms
·         Run effective marketing campaigns which deliver key messages and proposition, USPs and brand collateral to the target channels and industry sectors
 
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
·     Creative thinker with proven campaign experience
·     Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing
·     Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly – and distil the most important and relevant information to inform unique and innovative new content and creation ideas
·     Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, budgetary management, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
·     Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
·     Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and driven
·     Imaginative and creative with objective based judgement
·     Challenging in nature with a lively, broad ranging intellect
·     Quick thinking, intuitive and adaptable
·     High sense of personal responsibility and accountability
·     Good at absorbing large amounts of information, with a general hunger for learning
·     Reliable, flexible and co-operative
·     Proven success in launching new products and stimulating products throughout their life-cycle
·     Demonstrable evidence and success of developing and delivering producing digitally orientated strategies
·     Credible, confident and articulate, with good presentation skills
·     Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence
