CirencesterWe are seeking a talented Content Manager to join this fantastic business and team on a maternity cover contract. Key Responsibilities:
• Raise brand awareness, monitor web traffic, and analyse metrics to identify best practices
• Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with both short-term and long-term marketing objectives
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan, create, and refine site content, style, and layout
• Publish engaging and original content regularly
• Edit, proofread, and enhance the work of the copywriter to ensure quality and brand consistency
• Optimize content for SEO to boost visibility and search rankings
• Use content management systems (CMS) to track website traffic and user engagement metrics
• Manage distribution of content across online channels and social media to increase traffic and user engagement
• Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely content delivery
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations such as copyright and data protection
• Stay updated on industry trends and generate new ideas to engage the target audienceKey Competencies:
• Proven experience as a Content Manager/Executive, with demonstrated success in a content role
• Strong understanding of web traffic metrics, and social media platforms
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with high attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with managing online content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• A degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is desirable but not essential depending on experience.
